My page

If the user is logged in, the "My page" menu item in the bottom menu provides an overview of loans, reservations, to-do list, outstanding balances and loan history, as well as access to library cards, messages and settings.

Loans

Under "Loans", the materials that the user has borrowed are displayed. The order of the materials is determined by the return date of the material. The number of days is indicated along with color codes:

  • Red: The return deadline has passed.
  • Yellow: One week or less until the return deadline.
  • Gray: More than one week until the material is due to return.

If a loan can be renewed, the user can do so in two ways. Either the user can tap on the individual item and then tap "Renew".

Or the user can tap the menu in the top right corner. Here the user can select one or more materials or tap "Select possible", which will highlight all the possible choices. Finally, the user presses "Renew (x)".

Reservations

This is an overview of the user's reservations. The order of the materials is determined by queue number and is also sorted by color:

  • Green: The material can be picked up - the date of the last pick-up day is shown, and below the material, pick-up information and the branch where it is to be picked up is stated.
  • Yellow: The user is at the front of the queue - the next available copy will be presented to them.
  • Gray: There are others in the queue - indicates how many people are at the front of the queue.

The user can remove their reservation on the individual material view by tapping on it (see example for loans) or use the menu in the top right corner. Here the user can select one, several or all materials in the list.

Save for later. The Favorites list

The materials that the user finds interesting but does not yet want to reserve are listed here. The most recently added material is at the top of the list.

Materials can be added to the list by tapping on a material and the material view will open. By tapping the heart next to the cover image, the heart is highlighted and the material is added to the to-do list.

Tapping the heart again removes the selection and removes the item from the list.

It is also possible to remove multiple materials from the favorites list at the same time. This is done via the menu in the right corner. You can then select the desired materials with a tap. After pressing "Remove", the selected materials will disappear from the favorites list..

Intermediary accounts

Fees and reimbursements are shown under "Balances". In some cases, materials are combined under one fee, depending on the current handling in the library system. This will appear in the list view. At the top you can see the total amount the user owes.

If the library is connected to the MobilePay function, the amount can be paid via the app. It is only possible to pay the full amount. The user can pay by tapping "Pay with MobilePay", after which the user is transferred to the MobilePay app and the payment is completed with a swipe. This requires that the library has purchased the MobilePay module for the app. If the library is not signed up, the "Pay with MobilePay" button will not appear.

If the library has switched to ØiR, information will be provided under outstanding balances, about how the user should handle their outstanding balances. The user's ability to get to payment depends on the municipality's ØiR setup. Some users will be able to press a button that takes them to the municipality's payment system. For other users, the app will notify the user that the municipality will contact the user with information on how to pay outstanding balances.

Loan historiy

If the user has given the app permission to collect data (under settings), the user will be able to see the materials they have previously checked out (while "Collect data" has been enabled). Materials are automatically added to the loan history list when they are returned.

The user can sort their loan history through the menu in the right-hand corner, where they can also remove materials from the loan history in the same way as in the Favorites list.

The user can also manually add materials to the loan history in the materials view by tapping the menu in the top right corner and then tapping "Add to loan history".

If the user has not given permission to collect data, the loan history section on "My page" will show an exclamation mark. If the user taps on the loan history, the user will be guided to enable "Collect data" to access their loan history.

Updating My Page

Loans, reservations and fees are automatically updated every time the app is opened. However, if the app is opened from the background, the update will only happen if it has been more than 10 minutes since it was last updated.

It is also possible to manually refresh by dragging down the page. For example, if the user has just checked out a material, it may be necessary to drag down on the "Loans" page for the loan to appear. This can be done both on "Loans", "Reservations", "Balances" and "My page" (the overview).
